Cleaning Paulson chips

Perhaps I'm just confused because the Stardust glossy label is "exposed" to the elements. I did w/my SPM's is drop them in some water with a good shot of dish soap that had OxyClean in it. Perhaps I'm just confused because the Stardust glossy label is "exposed" to the elements. What you're feeling on the SPM's is a smooth/glossy inlay vs. the textured inlays of the Empress set, et. al. Of course you need the mineral oil which can be found in the "Beauty" section of any grocery or department store. Typically I will start by oiling 100 chips. Then dry the first 50 I did. Oil another 50, dry 50, etc. This allows 30-60 minutes between oiling and drying. While there is not set time to allow for the chip to absorb the oil, I have found this to be long enough to do the job. I have at times left them overnight or even a couple days without any issues.
