[Fallout New Vegas] "YEAH! Who won the lottery? I did!"

I didn't really care about the lottery, did it because he was a Powder Ganger. I certainly grabbed the ticket though. Then I found that other dude whose kneecaps the Legion shattered as the second place prize. He threw a hissy fit because he recognized me as the "Powder Gangers' grim mother ****in' reaper" or something like that. After I found out what the lottery was about I started laughing. The engine apparently has a bug with tracking unique characters. If they don't have a designated place to be, there's a chance that they'll get randomly assigned to a place when a save is loaded. I wouldn't have supported the legion on principle because they're a proselytizing, slaving, cult-wasteland religious group, but I didn't know that then. Maybe these people were truly wicked Sodom and Gomorrah types and it was powder gangers on the cruicifixes. He demonstrates what is called the ‘Thousand Yard Stare’, which is known to occur during an acute stress reaction, and describes the unfocussed gaze of a warrior. For me it was spotting a character in the Talent pool quest called Bruce Isaac, which is almost identical to my dad's name (Bruce Isaacs), who is despite the sign in vegas not a singing sensation.
