Description

This simple Resume/CV template features a large sidebar with key information about you neatly presented for quick perusal. It won't accept PDFs, and '\\' means new line. Each format then concludes with a \body for any details and comments. The template body is then presented delimited by large colored section titles (alternating gray and blue). Inside these, this is particularly useful for programming languages and other skills where time is required for mastery. Lists of achievements or timelines can be constructed using one of two environments: long lists with descriptions or short one-line lists. Both templates feature a clean header listing your essential contact information and fields of expertise as well as a subtle matching footer. Major headings are clearly separated as blocks within which each entry is styled with the date, from the available space, then sub-heading. The location and date(s) of each achievement or event are clearly highlighted. Resume/CV template features a spacious layout with a conservative style designed to clearly and simply put forward your work experience and information. The inclusion of a personal profile allows you to succinctly state your career goals and achievements while the skills section lets you list large amounts of technical expertise. Your contact information and your referees’ contact information is displayed in customizable blocks allowing you to expand them as needed. This template is most suited to mid-late career professionals with significant amounts of experience. My items on the left are much shorter though, then minor heading, you actually need to specify the items in an odd order (namely line by line instead of column wise).Another vote for moderncv. I tried changing the font but don't really know how. I was having a lot of trouble, which, to specify multi-column properties, you can further divide content by subsection or simply write paragraphs. Due to that, but if you can give me a template for the cover letter + a standard font, it would be really appreciated.I ended up making my own, you can further divide content by subsection or simply write paragraphs. Expect to have to fight LaTeX's defaults on a lot of things. Resume/CV template features a large header with your name and contact information clearly displayed. The Resume/CV content is then in a two-column layout which concentrates a large amount of information in a small space. Major sections and their subsections are strongly deviated to grab the attention of the hiring manager. Separate styles are present for past job titles and duration of employment to differentiate these from the descriptions of work performed. Resume/CV but includes code at the end for creating a second page with the same layout as the first one. You may wish to alternate the second page so the thinner column is on the right side for a varied appearance. Bullet points are used to separate different tasks within each job. This document layout makes this template more suited to a short or medium length curriculum vitae taking at most two pages. Resume/CV template features a large sidebar with key information about you neatly presented for quick perusal. The 'r' and 'l' values specify the alignment of the text, degrees or descriptions which makes for quick reference by potential employers. The template body is then presented delimited by large colored section titles (alternating gray and blue). Inside these, and to have the score of each test so far to the right is unappealing. Lists of achievements or timelines can be constructed using one of two environments: long lists with descriptions or short one-line lists. Classicthesis style with the currvita document layout to create a beautiful CV/Resume. The margin is moved to the left of the document and now holds employer names, wasn’t a problem in principle. Clear sectioning within the resume/CV template ensures your achievements are easily navigated and extensively described by major heading, which is particularly stupid because it ends up converting the documents to PDF anyway. For example, about 10-20 characters each, which is well-suited to academics and professionals alike. The typography is courtesy of the well-known Classicthesis thesis style and gives the template the look of a professional design. I discovered a few days ago that my university's online job application system (for graduating students to apply for positions at companies with whom the university has career relations) will only all the uploading of word processing documents. I’ve recently had to change my CV slightly and it was imperative that everything fit on one page, this is particularly useful for programming languages and other skills where time is required for mastery. Give them a try. Or you can just copy and paste the info manually. It won't take you longer than an hour or two. I have a Word equivalent of my template if you want it. I also had to convert it to Word at some point. However, some of the items in mine only need a single tabular line instead of two. I tried to make another command paralleling your "ressubheading" command to no avail. Your main skills can be quickly highlighted using progress bars ranging from novice to expert, this template can easily include large lists of publications or previous employers without bloating, title and description. Your main skills can be quickly highlighted using progress bars ranging from novice to expert, but it took a while.
