Very nice atmosphere and very pleasant and friendly staff. However, the waitress did tell us however that this had happened before and that it took an hour last time to be fixed and that they had to wait for the manager. She said we can still order, but only fish was available to be cooked on the electric stove. That was a big no no for my mom who hates seafood. Anyways, 10 minutes later they said we can order after all, but then hakf of the things on the menu were not available. Withthe Grill Menu only the filet was available and for my boyfriend who loves his meat an 8oz filet wasnt going to do. So no steak no rib eye no skewers. I can onky recommend the Halloumi as for starters and the main salads are absolutely huge. I went for the triple cheeseburger which was cooked to perfection, but then when it came to the dessert the next disappointment waited around the corner. Now why would they not let us know in advance what they have left and what not. Everybody understands that a restaurant can be busy and that certain foods can run out as it is hard to predict, but that was a big disappointment on my mothers birthday. I did not want neither, but since it was her birthday i couldnt let her eat dessert by herself and went for the ice cream. Perfectly cooked vegetables and tender meat. Waiting staff were attentive and very polite and pleasant. Restaurant was empty near enough, therefore lacked atmosphere but that wasn't anyone's fault .I booked a table here for Valentines Day. I wasn't sure what to expect having never eaten here before, but I needn't have worried. I had the breaded prawns to start and my partner had the baked chicken wings, both of which were lovely. We both had the same main course, 5 different 5' skewers on a bed of peppers, mushrooms etc. These were absolutely delicious, with the side dishes of sweet potato fries and onion rings being equally tasty. The food was nice and portion sizes were very generous. We all had the skewers which were really tasty. The ambience is good, and the restaurant was quite busy on a Friday night. Burger Stack & Wild Hog Pate comfortably the best dishes our group had, Salmon steak was strikingly bland. There were not enough staff on duty to cater for the bookings they had. The waiter (Adrian) was lovely and was doing his best but he was rushed off his feet. It took over 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive. The staff were lovely but management need to look at employing additional staff to provide the service you would expect. Chambord, gin and lemon juice, while ‘all or nothing’ is a southern-style punch involving Southern Comfort, Disaronno, orange and pineapple juice. Champagnes including Dom Perignon and Krug. Each purchase earns customers a certain number of ‘Aspire Points’, which can be used to claim discounts on meals and drinks during future visits. Aspers Casino, Clary’s Restaurant takes eastern fine dining to new heights. Marble floors complement stained oak furnishings in this impressive dining space. Aspers Casino at Westfield Stratford City is housed in a 65,000 sq ft venue. I would welcome talking to Aspers to discuss sponsorship and fund raising opportunities for some of our wheelchair users particularly clients who require specialist wheelchairs that the NHS is not able to fund including electric and high performance wheelchairs. Dealers range from good to bad however the majority are emotionless / rude which gives the atmosphere a kick in the balls and makes players depressed. We started off with Blackjack to warm up and as my friend was a newbie we picked an empty table and expected the dealer to be friendly and talk us through. I've met in a long time, didn't even respond when I spoke to her and got impatient when I took 2 seconds to think how much I was going to bet. We then tried the roulette table to a similar frosty reception and gave up before we even got to the poker tables. I have probably returned to Aspers 15 times, mostly due to the softness of the games and the big tournaments they hold. Dealers - Most are friendly, and decent. Some are not friendly, and seem like they are completely un-engaged in their job and the players, but that isn't the majority. I have had a couple of dealing mistakes happen either to me or at my table. When they happen the dealers are not very apologetic. The management to me, seems good. There have been multiple times where the floor was called, but the matters have been dealt with appropriately and efficiently. Acting out of turn constitutes a sitting out penalty in the tourneys here apparently. Often there are ques for chips and tournaments. Getting a drink, (especially at the tourney tables compared to the cash tables, because of tipping I presume) is an absolute nightmare. It is a surprisingly massive casino, you wouldn't expect it to be quite so big. And the Poker section is big too. I think all tournaments are 10 handed, not my preference, or most players. So in conclusion, the soft action and big tournaments are very good reasons to keep coming back. Although, there are many improvements still to be made, I can see that they are on the right track from the older comments below. I played a tournament here recently for the first time in a while and thought it had gone downhill quite badly. Still lots of players, wide range of standards and playing styles and experience but it's still quite soulless; the drinks are fairly expensive.
