Five reasons to hold on to your Galaxy Note 4 (and one reason to upgrade)

It’s why I ditched the Nexus 5 for the Note 4. As much as I loved stock Android, terrible pictures are a real drag. These are changes you wouldn't notice just using the phone, but become apparent when you set it side-by-side with an older device. In the display settings, turned on by default, are features that make the display change its characteristics slightly based on what you're currently looking at on screen. Hangouts call and close the cover on the case, it will actually sometimes hang up on your call because of the way it puts the phone to "sleep" with magnets. That said I'll proudly be rocking both the Note 4 & the Nexus 6 & one will become my backup of theiother or the Nexus 6 will be my media and game device while the Note 4 will be my work device. You just have to remember to take the S-Pen out of the device you're going to use, otherwise it won't work since it still detects its own S-Pen in the cradle and thus doesn't activate any S-Pen functionality. In this latest installment of our troubleshooting series we will tackle the Galaxy Note 4 will not recognize microSD card issue & other related problems.I purchased a new PNY High Performance 128GB microSDXC card that my phone will not recognize. If you don’t have any Windows computer then you can format the microSD card on your Mac by specifying MS-DOS as the format type. If you have a Windows computer then format the card using the FAT32 partition. I never formatted card.  So I did that, and now it says.  “Please remove this video, or reinsert the storage onto which it was. Downloaded.”. Make sure to format the card first so as to avoid any issues.I have had one this microSD card in my Note 4 for a while but now it doesn’t even want to acknowledge that it’s there. I go to the storage section in settings then I scroll to the bottom where the sd card section is. It says no card inserted. I have my camera set to save pictures on the SD card. However, all pictures are saved both on the SD card in the DIM folder and on the phone in the DIM folder. The problem is that it doesn’t store taken pictures anywhere (or I can’t find where). The Gallery app doesn’t see the taken pictures either. As for card authenticity looks and operates like it is. I don’t have the package with serial to check.I have a note 4 and added a 128 gb Samsung Evo micro sd card. I set camera storage to card and it saves a file to the card when I shoot. The problem is that none of the filed can be viewed. It’s like they’re corrupted. Samsung “phablet” series, the Note, is setting out to impress loyal followers. The Note 4 specifications include some obvious changes, a few improvements that will please Samsung fans and one or two slight disappointments. The front-facing camera is much better with a 3.7 megapixel shooter making those “selfie” shots much higher quality than other phones offer. Wi-Fi signals from a farther distance away and allowing Wi-Fi connections from a greater distance too. Features like Wi-Fi Hotspot are included for those who like to tether their cell phone signal to other devices like a laptop.
