If they land on a word, they find the word on one of the manna pieces in the middle of the board. If they land on a space that says, "Eat One" or "Eat Two", they must put one or two pieces of manna back in the middle of the board. To do this children take turns throwing a die and moving their dinosaur in either direction (backwards or forwards) the number of spaces shown on the die. If they land on a colored dinosaur print, they collect the same color print. When a child lands on a "treat" space, the teacher picks up and reads the question. If he already has a bone that matches that color of card, he doesn't collect a bone that turn. He has to wait until he answers a question with a card that is the color of a bone he doesn't already possess. If a child lands on a skinny cow, he colors one space under the skinny cow on his score sheet. If he lands on a healthy cow space, he colors one space under the healthy cow. If he lands on a talent space, he looks at the picture and tries to figure out what the child's talent might be in the picture and how he or she might use it to help others. When the child answers a question correctly he gets to throw the die and move that many clouds up towards heaven. Take turns asking each children a question. If a child gets the question right, he gets to move one space up towards heaven. Make three sets of questions, easy, medium, and hard. Easy questions are worth one space, medium questions are worth two spaces, and hard questions are worth three spaces. Take turns asking your children questions. Let each child pick what set of questions they would like to answer - easy, medium, or hard. If the child gets the question correct, he gets to move that many spaces. If that is not possible, have the children close their eyes to choose a card, or hold the container above their heads so they can’t see which card they are choosing. If playing in a class, divide class into two teams, "X's" and "O's". Draw a large Tic-Tac-Toe grid on the chalk board and number the squares 1-9. Players/teams take turns answering the Bible trivia questions called out by the teacher. If a player/team is unable to answer a question, the opposing team may have an opportunity to answer it and score an "X" or "O". If no one is able to answer the question, the grid space remains blank and play continues as before. Designed to help children realize we exercise our faith on a daily basis. Bible cards face down on the floor. Form two teams, assigning one team the Old Testament and the other team the New Testament. The object is to retrieve all the cards for the appropriate testament and put them in correct order on a table. Each team is timed. Then the game is played again working with the opposite testament. The player who has Genesis starts by placing it next to the "Law" category. Genesis card and so on. For categories that have both Old Testament and New Testament books, such as 'prophecy,' cards can be placed in both directions, but always starting with the first book of the category, then in proper order. A player can only start a category on the first card played during his or her turn, but a player can build on a category until he or she is no longer able to. Play continues clockwise. For example, if both cards are from Old Testament History, the player will take these cards without making any further moves. The next player will then take his or her turn. Cards that are turned over and do not match are placed back on the table, facing down in the same location. Deal out all the cards, excluding category cards, to every child. Have the children stand in a line a few feet away from a table. Explain that the object is to place all the cards in order on the table as quickly as possible. Then he or she will go back to where he or she stood on the line. The child who has Exodus runs up and places his or her card next. Continue until the children place all of the cards on the table in the correct order. Have each team form a single file line facing you and on the other side of a table from you. Use the Bible cards like flash cards. As you present each card, the children in the front of the line will compete to tell you whether the book belongs in the Old Testament or the New Testament. The first correct answer will get the card added to that team's pile of cards.
