There was only one lamp in the room itself, and a "hall light" near the entrance. The 11th floor was ridiculous, the carpet in the hallway was stained and duct taped together. One of the elevators wouldn't even take me to the 11th floor because the button on both sides was broken. The pool was closed in the middle of September during 90 degree weather. Getting to the room or to the check in desk through the casino was a real pain with luggage. Smoking in the casino made my wife sick to her stomach as well. There was no side entrance to get into the rooms in the tower. It felt like they were a casino with a hotel tacked on, not a hotel with a casino. The hotel did give us a discount (still waiting for disocunt) on the room for our inconvenience, which we thought was a nice gesture. Whiskey Pete's nor will we consider staying there again.I did not like the fact that when we arrived to Whiskey Petes they did not have any rooms available even though we booked in advanced. The room was dingy & gross. The AC didn't even work & there was no ventilation whatsoever. Downstairs on the gaming level, there’s an IHOP restaurant with very nice waitresses, but very high prices.
