Depending on the job, you should mention if you have some experience in these languages. No extra fluff like "looking for a challenging position" or "seeking a position in a growth-oriented company" or "utilizing my skills and experience to advance my career." None of that extra stuff that doesn't mean anything to the reader. Notice that most of these resume job objective statements are each 10 words or less. In some cases, some headings are "Job Objective." Others are "Career Objective." And some are just plain "Objective." Other headings I've seen: "Career Goal" and "Job Goal." Skills resumes categorize your experience under several key skills areas: the skills needed for the job you are seeking. Ph.D. scientists tell me they have been turned down for jobs because they were "overqualified." Some have suggested that, especially if you are continuing in a general profession or field. It is something that people will really notice. A candidate who has a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in geophysics and graduated summa cum laude from Vassar College will cause anyone to sit up and take notice. In fact, you might discuss the impact this had on your development and interests.
